"Sàpiens" is a Catalan magazine about historical dissemination.
This illustration was made for the "Lost Jobs" section, in which each month the magazine talks about a job that no longer exists. The title of the article was "Road workers: road keepers" written by Anna-Priscila Magriñà.
These people's job was to repair roads. They had a specific section assigned to them which they had to cover every day and keep in good condition.
